Micro-Workspace
MicroWorkspace is an 8-month technical training programme for unemployed youth from the ages of 18 to 30 years that gives them a chance to earn an income from a variety of online jobs.

Programme Background
After graduation, MicroWorkspace delivers qualified developers, certified in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and others, to the market. The graduates are well-versed professionals capable of optimising websites on any search engine (SEO), creating relevant content and designing high-quality graphics for webpages.
The pilot ran for a period of 8 months, from February 2019 to August 2019. The first cohort consisted of 15 participants, at the end of the call for applications, we received a total of 66 applications. From the 66 applications, 30 were selected to be interviewed, from which 15 were selected to be part of the programme.
The second cohort was launched on March 4 2020. At the end of the call for applications, we received a total of 499 applications and 15 were selected to be part of the programme.
