Mother’s Day with a difference

The special weekend filled with tears of joy, dancing and loads of laughter, the 12 th of May marked
the official launch of the ‘Vessel of Love Initiative’ at Impact Hub Harare. As the first event, themed,
“Mother’s Day with a Difference”. Vessel of love celebrated motherhood by hosting a massive baby
shower for disadvantaged single mothers who are either expecting or whom have children aged (0-
12 months). Each of them was gifted one community donated goodie-hamper from the 50-hamper
target. This was a significant, not only for the Vessel of Love Initiative, but also a hallmark to Hub in
contributing the social impact that we advocate for.
